When it all began
1946
La Valvomeccanica starts its activity of industrial valves engineering and manufacturing in Rho (Milan).
1962
Start of forging and steel milling activities within the GIVA Group. La Valvomeccanica is now able to manage the whole design and manufacturing process of the main types of valves, satisfying the market’s main needs and giving particular attention to lubricated plug valves; for 40 years, the company operated successfully improving its skills and capabilities.
1981
La Valvomeccanica and other forge-masters expertise companies joined together to establish a new reality whose aim was to fuse the experience in valve designing, manufacturing and marketing. This concept allowed the company to be known worldwide as a high-class valves manufacturer, especially in the Oil & Gas, Offshore and Sub-sea markets.
1994
The new unit was sold to an American group except for La Valvomeccanica which chose to proudly treasure its Italian identity.
1998
La Valvomeccanica is incorporated in Solbiate Olona (VA) under the GIVA Group as a public limited company specialized in small and medium ball valves. Meanwhile, the valves trading unit called RMT Valves (Rossino Maurizio Trading Valves) was established in Voghera (PV) and began its commercial activity in supplying service to major worldwide Engineering & Construction companies for all types of on-off valves: ball, gate, globe, check, butterfly and plug.

2022
RMTVM opens a branch office in Saudi Arabia.

RMT, with more than 500 active customers, is a globally recognized leader in the engineering and manufacturing of high quality and special design on-off ball valves and control valves. Our manufacturing range covers valve sizes from ½’’ up to 60” in accordance with API6D, API6A and API6DSS, available in the three most popular designs such as side entry, top entry and fully welded and offered with the widest array of steels and cast irons.
RMT VM overseas sales offices in Australia, USA, and Saudi Arabia, together with the network of representative agencies allow the company to be easily recognized and reachable almost worldwide.
Aftersales support is promptly provided by an internal team of expert technicians that can count on a global network of qualified local workshops, granting the customer the fastest response to their needs in any time of product life.
