Control Valves Actuators

The Diaphragm Actuators of the 100 series are manufactured by RMT VM to operate on RMT VM linear control valves with both quick open and control service.

They are characterized by a very rugged design for high reliability and easy maintenance.

The Single Spring design offers a more precise control action, very often the multi-spring actuators are affected by not – uniform compression of all the springs. .

Our diaphragm case is in high quality formed steel, with high strength. The upper and lower cases tighten the diaphragm edge in order to get an air proof sealing.

The spring is made of a high strength silicon – manganese steel. It is phosphate or coated “black japon” against corrosion. It has two flat parallel ends and it is top and bottom guided by two steel disks.

It is possible to choose Diaphragm Actuators with direct (fail open) or reverse action (fail close), with handwheels which can be operated either from top or from side.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Diaphragm Actuators can fit all the globe control valves 22s and 23 series up to DN 16’’.
There are 9 different models with different thrusts, each actuator type can be equipped with different spring range set on different valve strokes.
